Estamos en Febrero, es verano en Panamá, y las plantas están floreando por doquier. Aprovechen para conocer el país, hagan un viajecito, sobre todo al interior, desde El Valle a Boquete, se sorprenderán de las cosas lindas que verán, podrán admirar las flores, sobre todo las Buganvilias (Veraneras) en una gran gama de diferentes colores. Si este es su primer año en Panamá, prepárese para disfrutar de los Carnavales, desde el 1 al miércoles 6 de ceniza. Salgan con sus amigos y disfrute de estos carnavales Panameños.

Para que nuestros eventos resulten exitosos, y los podamos recordar por mucho tiempo, contamos siempre con la cooperación de nuestras socias, las invitamos que se involucren, que se acerquen a nosotras, que ayuden y nos asistan en las diferentes labores. Dear Members of Who's New:

It is February, summer in Panama and the flowers are blooming. Take advantage, tour the country, especially the interior, from el Valle to Boquete, and you will be amazed to see all the different colors of the bougainvillea throughout the countryside, not to mention the fantastic spring weather! If this is your first year in Panama, be prepared and don't miss Carnival, starting February 1 and continuing on to Ash Wednesday, February the 6th. Be sure to go out with your friends and enjoy the fun and excitement of this local festival.

For each of our events to be successful, we depend on our membership to become involved and volunteer to help make these events ones we will remember for a long time. We continue to ask each of you to step up and volunteer, whether it is greeting people at the door, collecting tickets, or helping us to plan our next event. We need you! Happy 35th Anniversary Who' s New!

Who's New Welcome/Bienvenida Café

Each month Who's New hosts a Coffee to welcome new women to Panama and provide a forum for getting acquainted. Join us for coffee and refreshments. Bring a new lady to introduce and plan to be of assistance to all those in attendance by sharing your knowledge about Panama. $5.00 at the door.

General Meeting/Asamblea General

Ms. Ana Matilda Aleman has once again extended an invitation to us for tea at the home of the Panama Canal Administrator. This beautiful house was once the Governor's Mansion and is a delight in itself, add to that tea, some lovely music, a display of shawls and you have a traditional Who's New event. Please plan to attend as we continue to celebrate this thirty-fifth year welcoming women new to Panama.

La señora Ana Matilde Alemàn, nos ha extendido ya una invitación para el té en su preciosa residencia, que fue la Mansión del Gobernador de la Zona del Canal, la casa en sí es una belleza, si le añadimos el té, música y una presentación de estolas, tenemos un acto tradicional de Who´s New. Por favor planee asistir, use su estola favorita y celebremos los 35 años de estar recibiendo nuevas visitantes a Panamá.
